Description:

flat wire, flattened wire, flat wire or ultra-narrow strip, refers to a cross-section of an anisotropic wire with approximately rounded corners, thickness ranging from 0.025mm to 2 mm, width generally less than 5 mm. The ratio of width to thickness ranges from 2:1 to 50:1. Because the flat filament looks like a band, it is sometimes called an ultra-narrow flat band. Compared with common round wire, flat wire has unique advantages in heat dissipation, welding contact area, fatigue resistance, hardness control and so on. The minimum thickness of flat wire is 0.025 mm, the absolute range of thickness tolerance is 3 μ m, the width is minimum 0.4 mm, the width tolerance is minimum ±0.01 mm, and the surface is clean without burr. Brass flat wire has good mechanical properties, good plasticity in hot state, good ductility in cold state, good machinability, easy fiber welding and welding, corrosion resistance, but easy to produce corrosion rupture, hot working temperature of 650 ~ 850 ℃, annealing temperature of 600 ~ 700 ℃, heat working temperature of 650 ~ 850 ℃, annealing temperature of 600 ~ 700 ℃, hot working temperature of 650 ~ 850 ℃, annealing temperature of 600 ~ 700 ℃. The low temperature annealing temperature is 270 ℃.
